St. Louis - March 9 - Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan is trying to have it both ways yet again tonight as she heads to New York City to accept pro-abortion money from pro-abortion New York social elites. Robin Carnahan is attending one of a series of pro-abortion fundraising dinners tonight with Planned Parenthood board members and pro-abortion elites including film star Kathleen Turner and self-described "television personalities."

"Robin Carnahan likes to play one role in Missouri while she plays out her true role in ultra-liberal places like New York's City's Park Avenue," said Ed Martin, President for Missourians United for Life. "In Missouri, this weekend she played one role delivering the tired, old pro-abortion talking point of claiming to want fewer abortions but tonight in New York City she will be playing a different role: she will be pledging her allegiance to abortion-on-demand, taxpayer funding for abortion and support for the pro-abortion Freedom of Choice Act which would eliminate state laws like Missouri's partial-birth abortion ban. Robin Carnahan likes this bit of home and away role-playing which explains why she has been compared to the fictional TV character Miranda from the popular New York-based series Sex in the City."

One of Robin Carnahan's first endorsements in the U.S. Senate race was from the pro-abortion Emily's List which endorses only extreme liberal, pro-abortion female candidates. In addition, Ms. Carnahan?s sister, Debra Carnahan who is the husband of Congressman Russ Carnahan (D-3), is a director of Planned Parenthood. No word on whether Debra Carnahan is attending the abortion dinner for Robin Carnahan. No word on whether taxpayers are paying for this trip or if Ms. Carnahan is taking a vacation day for travel.
